DoubleCheck verifies that a listing's photos match reality, so the space you see online is the space you walk into.
Trust in vacation rentals is broken. We're fixing it.
Trust is best earned in person. DoubleCheck sends someone to see a listing for themselves and confirm its photos are real, so you know what you're booking before you book it, because your vacation is too important to leave to chance.
Every DoubleCheck verification follows the same rigorous path, from manager qualification to the moment the badge goes live on your listing.
Before a single property is touched, the manager behind it is evaluated. DoubleCheck only works with professionals who meet baseline standards for responsiveness, operational integrity, and guest care, because a great property managed poorly is still a risk.
Once a manager qualifies, we send someone in person to confirm the listing's photos are current and accurately represent the space: the same angles, the same rooms, no stock shots or years-old staging.
Listings that clear the bar receive the Photos Verified by DoubleCheck badge, a publicly visible signal that the photos have been independently confirmed rather than self-reported. One badge. One standard. No exceptions.
Trust isn't a one-time event. Listings are re-checked on a regular schedule so the badge stays current, and so you're not relying on photos confirmed two years ago.
The Photos Verified by DoubleCheck badge isn't a rating. It's a record. It signals that each listing was visited in person and each photo was verified to be accurate on a specific date. No more hoping the photos are recent. No more guessing if you are going to get what you paid for.
See how it works →Whether you're searching for a stay you can actually trust, or managing properties and tired of being lumped in with listings that don't meet your standard, DoubleCheck works for you.
For travelersYou've done the research, read the reviews, and zoomed into every photo, and you still don't quite know what you're walking into.
DoubleCheck gives you the certainty that a real, independent person confirmed the photos before you booked.
For managersYou operate differently than the hobbyist down the street. Your standards are higher, your response time faster, your properties exactly what they claim to be. The problem is, travelers can't tell. Until now.
“Trust through verification. Guests want peace of mind. When I travel, I want to know someone verified that the listing photos are accurate, and the property is professionally cleaned and well maintained. That isn’t too much to ask. It’s why we started DoubleCheck.”
David Krauss, CEO and Co-Founder of DoubleCheck
DoubleCheck is in active development with a curated group of early-access managers, pilot properties, and travelers who believe the bar for trust in vacation rentals should be higher, and independently verified.
DoubleCheck helps professional vacation rental managers build the kind of credibility that travelers can see before they book and feel the moment they arrive, starting with photos travelers can actually trust.
